Adult Health Nursing

Medical surgical nursing involves care of the adult patients whose conditions are treated through medically, pharmacologically or surgically. Therefore, the department of Medical surgical Nursing focuses on preparing the student to become competent to practice adult health nursing in various aspects of clinical areas. The faculty in the department trains the students to acquire knowledge related to wellness, health promotion, illness, nursing management, patient with various medical surgical disease condition, palliative and hospice care.
