Mental health Nursing is a specialized area of nursing practice, employing theories of human behavior as it is a science, and the purposeful use of self as it is an art, in the diagnosis and treatment of human responses to actual or potential mental health problems. Therefore, the department believes in training the students to provide quality and holistic nursing care to individuals suffering from mental illnesses by the use of interpersonal approach to help patient and his family.
